WARNING: bit of whinging below.
I'm tired. Not because of lack of sleep either.
I think its the meds that are keeping my kidneys going.
I'm on a new medication. Its a blood pressure med. It didn't replace the one that I was on, but is supposed to work in synergy with it. And to be honest, its doing what its supposed to do. However, I'm dizzy all the time. I have to move slowly and be careful to hold on to something until I have my balance back. My energy level is CRAP again. Nick noticed this. I'm bruising like mad, and badly.
I don't know what to do about this. The synergy of these medications is supposed to keep my kidneys from going kaplooie too fast, but holy crapzola batman, its throwing me for one hell of a loop.

And what did your Doctor say about this side-effect? I mean you HAVE talked to the doctor about it..right?
ReplyDeleteYeah. Dizzy is not good. Blood pressure may be too low (yes, it is possible) Check your pressure when you are feeling dizzy. That way you will have numbers to give to the doc. Also, take bp first thing in am before taking med and then after meds take effect.

Synergy with meds kinda means that instead of 3 plus 3, its 3 to the third power.
I have an appointment to talk w/ Dr. on Monday. My blood pressure was low to begin with. That's the kicker here. My blood pressure wasn't that high, but the meds have a strange side effect of helping the kidneys last longer.
