Truly Blessed

I am blessed in abundance with good friends.

One in particular is the reason for this blog entry.

Our gaming group was supposed to go out to a fancy shmancy restaurant tomorrow night to celebrate Bronnie's very 40th birthday. Nick & I especially wanted to make this one good, because the last 2 have been sucky. 2 years ago, on the morning of her birthday, her grandmother died. She was almost as close to her grandmother as I was to Gram-Cram. Then one year ago, her lover essentially dumped her-- again, on her birthday.

She's had a rough couple years of birthdays. So Nick & I decided to change all that. We were going to make this one better.

Then we hit a finacial ditch, and had to cancel all the fancy-shmancy plans.

One of our gamer friends emailed us,, and offered to make his grandma's lasagna and grab a cake.

No, it's not fancy-shmancy. Its better. Cuz its straight from this guys very big heart.

I told Nick that we have the best friends EVER!!
