So, if when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade, it should follow that when life hands you felted socks, you make sock monkeys! Right?
This makes a disgusting amount of sense to me. I accidentally felted Nicks new purple dancing socks last night. So, I'm making sock monkeys! With the pair that got felted before, and the ones last night he'll have a basic purple, and a striped purple sock monkey. That's 2.
No waste, no fuss, and a lot of fun.
Purple sock monkesys are fun!
And the lesson we learned here is: From now on, buy washable/dryable yarn for Nick's socks!

ReplyDeleteOK Nick - Kate rocks (i know you know this - that’s why i love you man) - but after 2 attempts at homeading your socks you'd be getting the store buyed kind! Sure they would be rock your world best thing your feet ever felt (next to Kates homemade kind of course) but store buyd kind none the less!
