I think everyone at some point should do something completely frivolous and unnecessary that they have NEVER done before. For me, it was dyeing my hair purple & green. I loved it. Absolutely loved it. Still do. I went through the time and expense of getting the stuff I needed to take care of it and make it last.
Then I got my swimming cap on and discovered that it was a piece of shit.
I tolerated it until I couldn't anymore - until it was peeps bunny pink and puke yellow - and now thanks to the dollar store, I'm back to boring old me again.
SIGH. Being funky and cute was fun, but a lot of work and honestly more maintenance than I'm used to doing. Probably going to stay boring old me for a good long while.
