I've finished the green. Not going to talk a whole lot about the woo-woo side of things on this one. Let us just agree that I have issues. Lots of them. Whole pecks and then some.
I've spun the blue, and. ..meh. It first came out too thin, so I chain plied the 2 ply and . . .I'm hoping for stability. It will be better for this project to be too thick than too thin. It is a blanket after all. As to the woo-woo:
The blue chakra, the fifth chakra, is all about your voice. It took me longer to spin this than I'd have thought. I started to realize that I've been very quiet (for me) over the past few years. I stopped singing. I stopped talking. So apparently I've got issues here too. Not really surprised.
So, I'm hitting - for me - the harder chakras and finding shit to work on. That was rather the point after all, and I'm not shying away from it. I am seeing that this method of . ..practice? meditation?noodling! This method of noodling works for me rather well. So, I'm deciding to continue this after I finish the blankie. Not another blankie probably. I was thinking of making socks. Or underpants. Something that is less than 4oz of spinny and quicker to knit.
