I just got off the phone with my eyeglasses people. My glasses are being delayed another week (ordered on 1/23). The reason: The insurance company LIKES to provide glasses from their lab. However they don't make a prescription that can cover what I need. So, they are going back and forth with the people from the eyeglasses place (who could have this prescription made in about an hour) trying to decide who can make what and who will cover what.
Stop telling me that giving healthcare to all will cause unnecessary delays and unnecessary bureaucracy. I HAVE BEEN FUCKING LIVING THIS SINCE I WAS 10!!|
We are there, except only for a few who can somehow pay for it. We are paying for the bureaucracy and delays.
So give US the fucking healthcare already. From my perspective the only change will be in the profit-margins of a very few who can afford it.
