A funny thing happened. ..

So, Nick & I put our seedlings in yesterday.

We worked all afternoon, and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We went in after tidying up, tidied ourselves up and had a cool drink & a snack, then went back out to gaze adoringly at our handywork and each other.

The bunnies had ravaged two of our plants. They chewed up & spit out a cherry tomatoe & a bell pepper.

Nick got upset, and started ranting about whant I like to call the "He-man bullshit plan for pest control". It involved him sleeping in the garden with an axe, beheading bunnies, nailing their heads on the awning as a warning to the other bunnies (like they'd care!), ect. ad nauseum. (He didn't mean a word of it incidentally!).

Once he calmed down, I explained that we could just install a chicken wire fence, and do all the planting all over again! Wouldn't that be FUN?!?

Somehow, he didn't find this situation as amusing as I did!
